ABB Robotic Sealant Application Cell

Bard Robotics & Automation LLP has developed a robotic sealant dispensing system using an ABB industrial robot integrated with a Graco sealant delivery and control system for precise application of silicon sealant on road-mounted lamps.

The robotic cell automates inner line sealing and filling operations, ensuring uniform and bubble-free application of sealant on every lamp housing. This advanced solution replaces manual sealing with a highly accurate, repeatable, and contamination-free robotic process, significantly improving both product quality and production cycle time.

KUKA Ultrasonic Welding Automation 

Bard Robotics & Automation LLP successfully executed a fully automated ultrasonic welding system utilizing a KUKA industrial robot integrated with a Hypertherm ultrasonic welding source and custom-designed horns. The system is designed for Maruti car door components — including Front Door (FD) and Rear Door (RD) assemblies for both Left-Hand (LH) and Right-Hand (RH) sides.

This project ensures high-precision and repeatable ultrasonic welding for plastic automotive parts, meeting stringent OEM quality standards. The robot performs accurate positioning of the ultrasonic horn, achieving consistent weld depth and strength while minimizing cycle time.

A Mitsubishi PLC controls the overall automation sequence, managing part clamping, robot synchronization, and welding cycle monitoring. The system architecture allows for smooth coordination between the robot, ultrasonic generator, and fixture sensors, ensuring maximum process reliability and safety.
